What GrooveCut is
GrooveCut is a browser-based music editor built by Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) for dance teachers. It lets you trim tracks, remove vocals, adjust tempo, and cut sections directly in your browser, with no software to install. Access is included free with an active PBT Online Training membership. PBT may update or modify features over time, and will give reasonable notice of any significant changes.
How you can use it
GrooveCut is for your own professional use as a dance teacher: preparing class music, editing choreography tracks, creating trimmed versions of songs for performances and workshops. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use any music you upload. Do not use GrooveCut to distribute copyrighted material without a licence, upload harmful files, attempt to access or reverse-engineer the underlying platform, or share your login with others.
Your music stays yours
Everything you upload to GrooveCut belongs to you. Your audio files, your edited versions, your project history. PBT only processes your files for as long as it takes to deliver the feature you asked for. We do not claim ownership over any content you create or upload, and we do not share your files with third parties.
Intellectual property
The GrooveCut platform itself, including its design, processing algorithms, and branding, is owned by Progressing Ballet Technique. The PBT name, logo, and associated marks are registered trademarks. You may not use them without written permission from PBT.
Liability
GrooveCut is provided as-is. PBT works hard to keep it reliable, but to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss, loss of earnings, or indirect damages arising from your use of the service. Keep backups of your original music files. Do not rely on GrooveCut as your only copy of important audio.
Access and cancellation
Your GrooveCut access continues for as long as your PBT membership is active. If your membership lapses, your account will be suspended until it is renewed. PBT may suspend or close an account if these terms are breached. You can also close your account at any time by contacting support@pbt.dance.
