How to remove or isolate vocals from a track
GrooveCut separates a song into vocals and instrumental (stem split) in the browser, so you can get a clean instrumental backing track or isolate the voice — useful for exams, performances, or lyric-free class music.
How to do it in GrooveCut
- 1
Load the song at GrooveCut
Go to groovecut.pbt.dance and upload the track you want to process.
- 2
Run the vocal / stem split
Click the vocal removal or stem-split option. GrooveCut processes the file in the browser.
- 3
Choose what to keep
Keep the instrumental for backing-track use, or keep the vocal stem if you need the isolated voice.
- 4
Trim, loop, or beat-snap as needed
Edit the resulting stem just like any other track — cut, loop, or tempo-shift it.
- 5
Export
Download the stem as an MP3 and you're done.
